The foundation was started in May of 2008 by Mike's daughter, Stephanie, to honor the life of the man known to most as "Parz". His love for all people and dedication to helping others is something that needs to be continued. Michael was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was passionate about many things, especially the game of golf. The foundation will be sponsoring a memorial golf tournament to raise money for cancer research. Our mission is to help with future research for the many types of cancer that still have no hope for a cure. Michael died so quickly and there was nothing anyone could do to change that. The foundation hopes to aid in finding a treatment that will enable patients with these types of tumors to have more of a chance than Michael.
